Miam Miam @ Gurney Paragon Mall

It was Monday, our usual hang-out-day. Seeing my friends around me visited Miam Miam at Gurney Paragon Mall consecutively spurred me on. My kiasu-ness blames me for being too many steps behind LOL. My friends are also kiasu, so we went there lorr ABUDEN?!

It is a French-Japanese Restaurant. Miam Miam means "Yum Yum" in French.

Though Miam Miam is a  French-Japanese restaurant, to me their renovation looks more like French-Thai restaurant. Hmm, I don't really care, still looks nice.

We always choose to sit outside, starting the day with being kissed by the sunlight is a blessed kinda day. You know. I guess you don't  because typical Asians like you prefer to stay indoor rather than letting your skin gets dark. If you wanna prove me wrong, give comments on this blog about this. Neh Neh Neh Boo Boo!

Miam Miam's interior from my view. Look at those colourful chairs, awww lovely!

You'll probably know who am I when you visiting this site, I guess.

Okay, let's get the food journey started!

Mr.K's Miam Miam Special Blend Iced Coffee RM9.80, he didn't like it.

Mr.K's Classic Omu Rice RM20.80. The omelette attracted me once the dish served because it looked perfectly smooth. It tasted good yet it doesn't worth the price, only plain ketchup fried rice in omelette. They used Japanese rice.

JL's Pasta Arrabiata RM25.80. Taste normal.

My Pot Baked Souffle Doria RM26.80. You can choose to have with beef or without beef. This was the first time I tried rice with souffle, special and acceptable, I liked it. The rice under the souffle was ketchup fried rice with some beef and mushrooms.

A meal without dessert is not complete for me. Matcha Ogura Pancake RM19.80. Never look down on desserts, good desserts play very important role to end the meal happily. This dessert was real good, matcha ice cream, red bean paste and the jelly thingy, love love love! I like how the chef match different textures things together. Arghh, I should have taken a pic of the dessert with syrup on it, will even look much better.

Actually Junor ordered a dessert too, we wanted the desserts to be served after meal. Then after we finished, we told the waitress that she may serve our desserts. We reminded twice and mine served while his had been forgotten. I could tell that he was slightly unhappy. We canceled it and paid, the waitress apologized to us and we can understand due to the customers were quite a lot and they were really busy. So basically the service was still okay.

They charge 6% Tax and Service Charge 10%. Maybe I expected too much from them, the food were not better than I thought, or maybe I haven't tried their REAL SIGNATURE DISHES. IMO, they are overpriced. The experience was okay and I will visit again if I have the chance.
